The Grand Prize and Runner Up will be determined by a panel of judges based on the judging criteria below. The People’s Choice Award will be given to the entry with the highest number of votes as of 11:59pm ET on November 30, 2016.
Each video entry will be evaluated and scored based on these 3 elements:
Originality & Creativity: Does the video grab the viewer’s attention; is it memorable, does it use elements that are original; is the content portrayed in a creative way?
Technical Expertise: Is the video under 2 minutes; does the videographer make use of creative video editing techniques to produce special effects?
Video Quality: What is the overall quality of the video (such as audio, lighting, clarity, etc.)?

Here are some things to keep in mind when entering the Special Effects video contest. You can download a PDF copy of the Official Contest Rules for more details.
– Make sure your video is no longer than 2 minutes.
– You may enter as many times as you like.
– You can only vote ONCE for each video, including your own.
