Greg Banning is a well-established illustrator based in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Over the past twenty years his work has been seen on many diverse projects. Some of which include the new Brawny Man for Brawny Paper Towels, the cover of Maclean's Magazine, a coin design for the Royal Canadian Mint, and several children’s books, most recently “Go Ahead and Dream” for HarperCollins.
His nostalgic, realistic style is sought out by major clients in Canada, the USA and the UK.
Other clients have included, Microsoft, Labatt, Molson, Corona, Fox Sports, Canada Post, Kellogg, and Purolator. As well, Greg has built a solid reputation in the publishing world. He has illustrated seven children’s books for Scholastic Canada and most recently one for HarperCollins. His work can also be seen on many book covers such as the “Screech Owls” series from McClelland & Stewart to “Our Canadian Girl” series for Penguin to name a few. He also freelances as a storyboard and concept artist.
Although he has a traditional background in drawing and painting he now applies this foundation digitally as a Corel Painter Master.
