Experimenting with Brushes and Paper

By Melissa Gallo

In this tutorial you will learn how different brushes and paper textures interact with each other, and how to tweak your brush settings. To begin, you will need to open up the various brush windows like the Brush Selector Panel, the Toolbox, the Property Bar, and the Recent Brushes window. You can move these around on your workspace to create a layout that works for you. You will also learn how to create and edit custom palettes with particular brushes, and how to use brush tracking to pick up the pressure and tilt of your own hand.
