    I have photos with several people in the picture, and want software that will highlight a single individual (with a small brightened circle) to highlight that individual.

      Hello Verie,

      You can definitely use PaintShop Pro to apply an effect like that to your image! A few different methods could include using the Vector Shape tool to draw your circle and apply a highlight or glow to the circle, drawing it manually with a pen, or applying a lens or mask giving a highlight effect. We would suggest starting with the PaintShop Pro for Beginners tutorial series to see some of these tools in action.
