Installed yesterday…having many issues with the workspace. I am straight from using X2. I use many layers, they won’t stay on the canvas, keep collapsing to the task bar? ? It’s a vast difference, so difficult to move the images around. Also all my files are showing as Corel icons, can’t see my pictures. May not be
    able to fathom! Using IE.

      Hello Jean,

Thank you for the feedback! There have been quite a few gradual changes between PaintShop Pro X2 and 2018, so the interface will definitely take some getting used to. We are sure it will start feeling natural before you know it!

As for the missing thumbnail issue, we have seen this with a range of Corel and non-Corel programs over the years, and have a fix for this which you can find here:

I used Corel earlier versions that was included in programs (CD) attached to my Fuji Film Camera. Somehow I lost the program and CD over the years and couldn’t find that exact one no where. It was easy to learn the basics although I really need to take a class, I got the jest of it. Now I’ve downloaded your trial version and I sure hope I can grasp this new one before I purchase. I’m excited to learn at 52 years young. Thank you Corel!!!

Like others, I cannot play the tutorials on my screen…HELP!
I own AfterShot 3 STANDARD and Painter Essentials 5. I have the codes for both but have no information as to how to enter them and thus use the program.

      Hello Jim,

When you attempt to use AfterShot and Painter Essentials, do you get a ‘trial expired’ message? If so, simply click the “Activate Now”, “Already Purchased”, or “Enter Serial Number” button to proceed to the next window, where you can enter your serial and activate the program!

If you are not getting the trial expired message, let us know and we will look into this with you!

Thanks for reaching out! What browser are you using to view our tutorials? We routinely test them in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer, Opera, and Safari among other browsers, and we have encountered any difficulty viewing our tutorials. If the issue persists, make sure your browser is up-to-date, and if that fails, another browser may be the solution!

One other potential cause for video playback issues is if the network you are connected to is using a proxy or has video sites or content disabled. This is the case in many offices, as well as many public wifi services.

      Hope this helps!

      Hello Roland,

Unfortunately we do not have full German tutorial videos at this time. However, several of our tutorials (including this one!) do have German subtitles available, among other languages. We are always looking for ways to expand both our available tutorial topics and the accessibility of the tutorials themselves, and appreciate the feedback.

      Hope this helps!
