Weekly Challenges – Architecture
Architecture is all around us and is a very popular subject for photography and design. And it’s not just the incredible, unique modern structures that make for good images. Think about how you would capture and portray the faded beauty and endurance of an old building that has stood the test of time. Or how an image of a bridge can provoke a sense of amazement for the complex engineering but at the same time have interesting symbolic meanings. Even individual architectural elements like arches and doorways can inspire our creativity. Each week we will feature a different architecture theme and we invite you to upload your photos, graphic designs or digital art images to our gallery below.
This Week’s Challenge: Urban Architecture
Life in the big city is exciting, and so is the variety of buildings and structures available for you to capture. Upload your photos and images of skyscrapers, factories and other urban buildings, and browse our gallery to see what others are sharing.
Are your architecture photos turning out crooked or skewed? This is called Perspective Distortion, and it happens because you are shooting from an angle. For example, if you are taking a photo of a tall building you are most likely shooting upwards instead of facing the building squarely. Find out how to fix this easily in PaintShop Pro.
And don’t forget to visit our Freebies page to get free content for your weekly challenge projects.
