Downloaded update 5. When run installer get message that computer has not been modified and that another version of this product is installed and told to uninstall then run installer again.

      Hello Ron,

Are you running AfterShot 3, or AfterShot Pro 3? It is possible you downloaded the wrong update by mistake, which would cause an error message like the one you saw.

Alternately, in case you did successfully install the update earlier, what is the build number in your AfterShot install? You can find it under Help > System Info. If Update 5 has installed successfully, it should be 3.5.0.350.

      Hope this helps!

I have had the exact same problem issue as Ron Sherard experienced.

Downloaded update 5. When run installer get message that computer has not been modified and that another version of this product is installed and told to uninstall then run installer again.

Is this “update” really requiring me to uninstall Aftershot Pro3 in order to update it? What happens to all of my presets, downloads, scripts, etc. if I do this?

Any plan to add sony a6400 camera profile to aftershot pro 3? If yes. When? I have been waiting for months! Please help.

  3. Ron Sherard says

After several failed attempts to update with Update 5, I finally had to uninstall AfterShot Pro 3, use regedit and a registry cleaner to clean references to AfterShot Pro 3 and AfterShot 3 (remnants from earlier use of AfterShot 3) from the Windows registry and then reinstall AfterShot Pro 3. After the cleaning and reinstall, AfterShot Pro 3 installed as version 3.5.0.350 and, so far, is working as it should.

Corel’s solution was to create a new user in Windows 10 and install under that user. That would have been a total waste of computer resources.

      Hello Ron,

Thanks for the follow-up! We have confirmed that there is an intermittent issue with the Update 5 installer, which is causing some users to have the same error you encountered. Since it only occurred in some cases it took some time to track down, but we will have an updated Update 5 out soon.

Also, thanks for the solution suggestion! We’ve passed it on to our support team for their review.

Same issue as above, tried downloading from email received, from update page, from within AfterShotPro3, double checked correct version but still the same result. I am not going to delete my version to receive a simple update.
I truly hope this is not the case. My current version is: 3.4.0.297.

Looking forward to hear from you!

    Thank you!

    Cheers,
    Elmar Langle

Was excited to download the 3.5.0.350 update, but alas, still no support for Sony Alpha A7R III raw files! Are you trying to chase me into the arms of Adobe?

    • Adam says

      Hello Rich,

Thanks for the feedback! We are always looking for feedback on which cameras our users have, and have passed the suggestion on to the AfterShot team for their consideration. In the meantime, here is a tutorial on creating a custom lens profile which you can use to put together some quick lens corrections for batch editing.

          Hello Ron,

Not yet, unfortunately! The problem has proven a little stickier than the ASP team originally thought. We are confident they’ll have the revised update out soon – sorry for the delay!

Hi, we’ve had Corel Ultimate programs for years and AfterShot 3. Recently purchased Corel Ultimate Pro 2019, and the AfterShot Pro 3. We upgraded to the AfterShot Pro 3 as it listed our camera Sony A9 as a supported camera. We downloaded the Free link for the A9, however we noticed that our new AfterShot Pro 3 program does NOT list our GM Lenses (24-70 and 70-200 GM Lenses). Therefore, we cannot make good use of the AfterShot Pro 3 program we just purchased.

Will Corel be adding lenses such as ours as free updates anytime soon? Please let me know as we wouldn’t have purchased this program otherwise.

    Thanks,
    Dave

    • Adam says

      Hello Dave,

We do not currently have anything to announce regarding an ETA for those GM lenses, but we have made sure they are on the list for inclusion in a future update. In the meantime, we do have a tutorial on creating custom lens profiles that you may find helpful.

I downloaded the trial version of AfterShot, but I can’t download the camera profile for Canon 77D. In the Get More tab it says it is only available for AfterShot 3.5 or later. Will it be available if I purchase AfterShot? My version of Lightroom doesn’t support Canon 77D either and I don’t want to toss money around. Thanks!

    • Adam says

      Hello Chris,

The trial of AfterShot does not currently include the 3.5 update, so you would need the full version in order to add the Canon 77D profile. We do offer a 30-day return policy on all our products, so if you purchase AfterShot and decide it isn’t for you even with the 77D profile, that is OK!

      Hope this helps,

    Sony Alpha A9 is amazing.
Full-frame stacked CMOS sensor, 24.2MP, 3,686K-dot electronic viewfinder with 120fps refresh rate
3.0-inch tilt-angle touchscreen. The key piece of tech at the heart of the Alpha A9, and one that’s had a knock-on effect on the performance of other components, is the 24.2MP full-frame stacked CMOS senso

    Hi there,

Are there any plans to add a profile for Panasonic DC-FZ80 to allow me to edit RAW photos taken with this camera? Or is there an available camera profile that would work instead?

    Thanks!

  13. Nao says

Panasonic GX9 is sold as GX7 Mk3 in Japan, so RAW files created with GX7 Mk3 can’t be imported even though they are the same model…

Corel says it has a camera profile for Sony DSC-RX100 VI, but when I go to the Aftershot downloads page, it is not listed. It only has Sony DSC-RX100 V, which I tried. I also updated my Aftershot 3 using the auto update function in the software. I still can’t open ARW files. Any guidance on this? Where can I get this new camera profile which you say you have.

      • Mel says

Hahaha, my bad. I missed it – even though it had a big NEW beside it! Thank you for pointing out the obvious to me. It was a long day. It works.

Good morning, I was trying to use corel aftershot 3.5 pro on linux to edit my nikon d3500 files, but I couldn’t do it. I think that’s because you haven’t created a profile for that camera yes, isn’t it? I please you to create it, bacause I have paid this program and I’d love to use services that I pay! Thanks alot.

  17. Giacomo says

Hello, Are you planning to support also the Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ70?
Cause I’, running Aftershot PRO 3 and is not working.
    Thank you

    Hi Aftershot

I just downloaded Aftershot 3 but not able to decode / show RAW files from Canon 5D4. Can you check? Thanks.

  19. Geoffrey Hawkins says

Why can Aftershot 3 Pro not download dng files from the DJI Mini 2 ?
Nothing to say a restricted number of cameras could be used. Buying Aftershot 3 Pro was just money thrown away. Plus three hours of my life wasted trying.

  20. Kim L. says

After using this software for almost a decade I may have to give it up. This last update has made the program absolute trash. Suddenly Canon 77D is no longer supported with RAW files? After three years of being just fine? Tech support was no use, they kept trying to close the ticket when it was very obvious it was a software error. The information they wanted wasn’t easy to obtain and actually when I tried the directions did not work. Please bring back the old version or fix the new.
