Creating your own unique Christmas card insert using your family photos is a great way to add a personal touch to your holiday greetings, and it doesn’t have to be difficult or time-consuming. Using this free template is as easy as 1, 2, 3 – just select the photos you want to use, copy and paste into the template, and print! And if you want more templates like this, check out our 4-pack of Christmas card inserts.

But what if you don’t have the perfect family portrait to use? Getting the perfect family portrait can be difficult, especially if children or pets are involved since they don’t always cooperate! Someone’s eyes are closed in this shot, someone else is looking the wrong way in another shot, and so on. Then you have to pick from a series of photos that are not quite right, and don’t end up with the perfect family photo you were looking for. The solution? Check out our video tutorial on using the Photo Blend tool in PaintShop Pro, which allows you to combine two or more photos of the same scene and choose what parts you want to keep or remove.  Follow along with product expert Roger Wambolt as he walks you through the process and in no time you will have your own perfect family portrait!

      Hello Connie,

All you need to do to insert a photo is add it to a layer under the template, and crop or resize your image to fit! If this sounds new to you, we have a tutorial series on working with layers that you may find helpful.

      Best,
