Indian Summer

This image was created from a photo of an area in California. I sketched the image then did a value study so I would not lose depth. When painting I used Papers and Impressionist Brushes tweaked to variables that allow me to create the look of an oil painting on a canvas. At the end I Sharpened and added Color Saturation.

On this cold, dark northeastern day, this painting leaves me dreaming of a soft warm summer day. Beautiful!
