purple abbey

purple abbey

24th Oct is world polio day, to mark the day Pershore Rotary lit up our beautiful Abbey. Purple is the colour we use to mark world polio day. I was asked to take a picture to mark the occasion. Rotary purchased my original copy of PSP which I used to edit the shot. If I am luncky enough to win prizes will be used by Pershore Rotary

An impressive shot with an even more powerful message. For only the second time in human history we are close to eliminating a disease which has killed and crippled millions (smallpox in the 1970s being the first). End Polio Now.
