Autumn Centerpiece

Autumn Centerpiece

A bright orange pumpkin, resting in an old copper bowl, is surrounded with sprays of orange and red and purple berries and a sprig of colorful persimmons. The old wooden table has seen many holiday meals, much laughter and good cheer over the years. It knows, from decades past, that when the pumpkins come out, soon pies and turkeys and all manner of good things will follow … as will more laughter and good cheer … and love.

Created in Corel Painter 2019 from my own original photography with the Wacom Intuos 4, the art pen. Brushes used were the TAQ knives for the main image and Karen Bonaker’s Stormy Seas for the background.
