This is the inaugural blog post for the Corel Discovery Center. This blog is going to be all about bringing you fresh creative content – just like the Discovery Center itself. But it’s also an opportunity for us to tell you a little bit about ourselves, who we are, and what we are trying to accomplish. So consider this an introduction.
Hello.
The Discovery Center was born almost two years ago out of a desire to answer Corel Customers’ questions about using their programs. In particular, we wanted to help people learn how to create specific projects – like a slideshow or, a greeting card, or a funny photo. As the project evolved, it became clearer what we were all about. Not just teaching people how to use our programs, but helping them pursue their creative interests.
Everything we’ve done so far on the Discovery Center has been aimed in one way or another at this goal. We have video tutorials, inspirational galleries, and engaging contests. Many of you will be familiar with our offerings, but if not, we invite you to explore the site and discover for yourself.
But what we’ve done so far is only the beginning. We think of our tips and tutorials as the core of the Discovery Center, but it’s only the first step. So while we will remain to bringing you tons of new learning content, we are also going to be rolling out new programs and offerings in the coming months. Keep your eyes peeled.
Creating is a journey. So is learning. That journey begins here.
