How To Use The Reference Palette
It is said that no art is created in a vacuum, that all art is inspired or influenced by something. Your inspiration might come from your life experiences, family or even other art. Regardless of what inspires you, it’s nice to keep that inspiration close to you while you work. The new Reference Palette in Painter X3 allows you to load an image to keep visible in the corner of your screen. Use it as a style reference, or just to keep you motivated. You can even use the Dropper Tool to sample colors from your reference palette and use them in your work!
