Paper and Flowmap Rotation
By Skip Allen
In this tutorial, you will learn about paper and flowmap rotation, a simple way to add a little more texture to your images. Paper texture and flowmap affect how watercolor paints dry on your page. For example, wet paint will naturally run down a vertical canvas a little bit. Rotating your paper or flowmap will change the direction the paint flows, which can result in a strikingly different texture or effect.
