Editing Basic Clip Properties

Editing Basic Clip Properties

By Maliek Whitaker

In this tutorial, Pinnacle Studio Pro Maliek reviews the Properties settings in the new, easy-to-access Editor workspace introduced in Pinnacle Studio 21. The Properties section has sliders and number boxes on the right, that can be adjusted to change the size or position of a clip, add a corner curve or border, and rotate or crop a clip. On the right is a video timeline where you can animate any of the clip properties by using keyframes to create motion. For example, set the horizontal position at 100 at the beginning of the clip, then add a keyframe halfway along the timeline and set the horizontal position to 0 (center) – this will animate your clip to be off-screen at the beginning and move into the center at your keyframe marker.
