Hi – there are no instructions on how to resize an existing photo for instagram posting. I just recently installed PSP 2021 Ultimate for Windows 10. I cannot find how can I resize an image to make it fit for an instagram post. I know how to resize a picture (like Image>>resize), but I do not see any options to change the size/ratio such as 4:1 to fit into an Instagram post (or any other social media like FB). Can you please advise the steps? Thank you

      Hello Skeefiez11,

Thank you for the suggestion! We do not currently have a custom ratio tool for resizing, but if you know the preferred resolution of the media in question you can use the By Pixels option to optimize your image size and ratio. For Instagram, the currently accepted sizes are square (1080 x 1080 pixels or 1:1), portrait (1080 x 1350 pixels or 4:5), and horizontal (2063 x 1080 pixels or 1.91:1).

      Hope this helps,

The first example seems to me to be inordinately complicated to achieve the deletion of the extraneous image outside the frame, surely a simple “delete” or “confirm” button can be added to do this and have the software do all the actions in the background. My perception of Paintshop Pro is that this type of complex process is required too often and makes it rather too complicated for the average home photographer.
