An internationally recognized artist, author and Corel® Painter™ instructor, Helen Yancy has shared her style and techniques across America and in Canada, Asia and Europe. Her DVD Tutorials have launched many a career, motivating and inspiring artists and photographers to pursue their passion and expand their horizons with a different kind of brush, incorporating the amazing brushes and tools of digital painting software. After selling her first painting at the age of 12, she began working in a photographic studio at 14, and has been on the cutting edge of technology since her first computer in the 80’s.
She gained an international reputation as a traditional portrait painter working for photographers early on. Eventually, wanted to sing her own song rather than be somebody else’s accompaniment, Helen Yancy Studio was born.
