The Guardian Angel

I have a series called the ‘Guardian Angel’ which is where I am commission to work with my Clients current dog/s capturing them. Then the Client has sent original head shots (usually not very good quality) of previous dogs they have had. I then incorporate the dogs who have passed with the current dogs to create ‘The Guardian Angel’ artwork. Signifying that the dogs who have passed, never leave but are always watching over their progeny and/or the new dogs of the family. Gone but never forgotten and always around. This particular piece was inspired by the Client mentioning that one of the young girlies was the reincarnation of her Grandmother (the Guardian) so when setting up for taking the original images I had it in my mind that SHE was the only one aware that her Grandmother was watching over the family hence I had her baited to look up when taking the shot.
