To quickly display a grouping of the brush controls that are relevant to your currently selected brush, you can assign a keyboard shortcut to the Advanced Brush Controls feature. To assign a keyboard shortcut, choose Edit menu > Preferences > Customize Keys (Windows) or Corel Painter X3 menu > Preferences > Customize Keys (Mac OS). Expand the Window command from the Application Commands list and choose Advanced Brush Controls. In the Shortcut column next to the command, press the keyboard shortcut that you want to assign. Painter will let you know if the shortcut key is available.
