We did it again! We’ve scoured the internet for the best and most creative wedding photography ideas. And, our most recent list is bigger and badder than ever!
The Lovely Couple
Obviously! Take photos of the couple together and as individuals.
Take lots of photos of the wedding party and other important people such as parents of the bride & groom, flower girl and so on. If it helps, jot down a list of the important people you need to photograph. With all that’s going on, forgetting to photograph a specific person can happen a lot easier than you think!
Capture the mood of the occasion. You can do this by photographing the weather, time of day, flower arrangements, place settings and so on.
There’s something breathtaking about the fine details in a photograph. Be sure to take stunning photos of the rings, the dress, the tux, shoes, jewelry and other items that the Bride and Groom hold dear.
You’ll want to capture individual guests, smaller groups and even wide shots of the entire party. Also, try to pick up on close family members and friends that may not be in the actual wedding party. Although these people may not be considered as “Guests of Honor”, they are special to the Bride and Groom who will want to have photos of them enjoying their special day.
Candid shots can often be the most memorable and special of all. Be sure to photograph the blushing bride, the giggly bridesmaids and the teary-eyed Father-of-the-Bride! These are all moments your clients will want to cherish forever and always.
As the photographer, it’s your job to capture not only the Bride and Groom, but moments they otherwise wouldn’t get to experience. So, we hope that you are able to pull a few ideas from these photos and we wish you all the best while capturing some Happily Ever Afters!
