How to Remember f-Stop and Depth of Field Relationship
Think of the f-Stop number as the amount of the photo that will be in focus. A small f-stop number will mean that only a small range of the photo will be in focus. Conversely a large f-Stop number means that more of the photo will be in focus. This relationship can be confusing because of the inverse relationship of f-stops to aperture size.
