Highly Requested Olympus Camera Makes Its Debut in AfterShot Pro 3

Hello, AfterShot Pro community!

You’ve been asking for it and so we delivered… I’m back again today with another announcement to tell you about our latest camera RAW profile, the ultra-popular Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II!

It’s OK… I’ll understand if you jump away from this page in a hurry to go download the profile right now. It’s been heavily requested by members of our community, so I’ll just tell you up front that you can go find the OM-D E-M10 Mk II profile in the AfterShot Pro 3 Get More tab and on the AfterShot Resources page.

Already got the profile, or want to stick around to finish reading first? Awesome… then let me tell you a little bit about why we finally chose to “See The LITE” and deliver support for this incredible micro 4/3 model from Olympus.

Aside from being one of the most requested cameras since the launch of AfterShot Pro 3, the OM-D E-M10 Mk II from Olympus is one amazing little shooter. Packed with a 16.1MP 4/3 Live MOS sensor alongside the TruePic VII image processor, it delivers a stunning 8.5fps when shooting stills and full HD 1080p/60 video at up to ISO 25600.

It also comes with a sweet FAST AF (auto-focus) system that uses 81 contrast-detection points for quick and accurate focusing even includes dedicated subject tracking modes!

If you’re excited to start working on your RAW photos from the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mk II in AfterShot Pro 3, you can grab it now from the in-app Get More tab or download it directly from the AfterShot Resources page!

And if you’ve made it this far… I’ll let you in on a little secret. Our next camera that’s coming to ASP3 is the Canon G7X II — another heavily requested fan favorite!

Hi Alex, I was referred by someone on the Aftershot Facebook page to your article “ASP3 Welcomes the OM-D EM10 MkII ” Does Aftershot Pro 3 also include support for the OM-D EM5 II and the Olympus lenses that I have that were not included in the Aftershot Pro 2 lens database? The lenses I have not listed in the lens database are the M.Zuiko 25mm 1.8, 75-300mm II 4.8 -6.7, and 40-150mm II 4.0-5.6. I bought Aftershot Pro 2 back in March and I haven’t seen any updates to address these issues. If version 3 includes those changes I will consider upgrading. Thank you

Hey Rich, apologies for the delay in getting you an answer here… If the lenses you’ve listed do not appear in the lens correction database, you can always create custom profiles for these lenses using our Lens Correction Development Kit available for AfterShot Pro 3. I’ll have a new blog post on this live soon but, for now, here’s a link to our help file with more info: http://corl.co/2916UAU. Hope this helps!

    Hi Alex,
what I dearly miss is an inclusion of the Pen-F – my revered OMD E-M5 works well, but ages visibly, and the Pen-F would be just a natural upgrade. But not being able to use ASP just stops me for the moment in my plans. So I would be very interest to see this jewel of a camera included in ASP’s compatibility list.

      Hello Markus,

Thank you for the feedback! We are always on the lookout for what cameras our users are shooting with, and have passed your comments on to the AfterShot team for their consideration.
