Don’t Pose Your Family Portraits – Set Them Up
Family Portraits can be pretty boring. If you have everyone lining up and smiling, you’re unlikely to capture much personality. So instead of telling people how to pose, set them up by giving them something to do. Tell the parents to lift their kids, ask someone to whisper a secret in someone’s ear, or just tell everyone to have a group hug! Everyone will do this in their own way, so you’ll end up with distinctive and memorable photos.
