Photographing kids is all about capturing their youth and personality. That means you need to make them comfortable. So dress them in comfortable clothes. Experiment with including someone else in the shot to take the focus off of them. Include toys or games in your shoot. And if all else fails, never forget a photographer’s secret weapon for getting kids to relax and smile: farting noises.
