Limit Your Transitions
Nothing is worse than a ton of distracting and flashy transitions added in the editing process. Try and keep the number of transition effects to a minimum so your audience isn’t distracted from the message you’re trying to get across. A simple cross-fade or fade-to-black is usually a safe bet.
