Skyline Tip: Think about the Foregound
Photographs of the skyline are one of the most common and often beautiful ways of capturing a city. But they can also be pretty boring photographs – just ask anyone who has ever scrolled through 200 vacation pics of the same ‘incredible’ horizon.
In order to make your skyline photo more interesting, think about your foreground. Use the same rules that you would use for the background of a portrait – it should be interesting and complementary, not distracting. Use it to add mood or color to the shot.
