Getting to Know Painter Brushes

By Cher Pendarvis

Explore Painter’s library of brushes with Painter Master Elite Cher Pendarvis. All of Painter’s brushes are found in the Brush Selector, organized by category (such as Chalk, Pastel and Crayons) and variants within each category (such as Chunky Soft Pastel). Cher reviews the options on the property bar, such as brush settings for size and opacity, then demonstrates a few different brushstrokes so you can begin to see the variety available. Once you have found the perfect brush, learn how to configure your Brush Tracking, which determines how Painter interprets input (like speed and pressure) from your stylus.
