We have renamed, reorganized, and streamlined brush categories and variants for a logical content experience. Don’t worry, you can still access your previous favorites that you can’t live without!

In this tutorial, Painter Master Elite Aaron Rutten shows off Painter 2020’s updated Brush Selector with new dab and stroke previews that clearly display the brush properties without visual clutter. Plus, you can right-click within the Variant section to use the enhanced contextual menu. Launch the additional Compact Brush Selector to save painting pixels or drag to convert it from vertical to horizontal display.

    Why is it so difficult to insert very expensive brushes previously bought from Corel essentials 6, in Corel painter essentials 8? I did not success doing it.

      You should be able to bring your brushes into Painter Essentials 8 by clicking the Restore Purchases link under the Help menu, providing you are using the same customer account info.
