Choosing and Calibrating Brushes

Choosing and Calibrating Brushes

By Justin Buus

This tutorial will show you how to get started with brushes. You have a variety of different brush categories to choose from, and the brush list will show you the different options available in each category and a preview of the stroke. You can add your favorite brushes to a custom palette, so they are always easy for you to access. The Brush Control panel for the brush you have selected will give you even more options, like setting the opacity, grain, size, etc. Before you get started using your brush, it’s important to calibrate it with your tablet stylus, and this can be done easily in the Brush Tracking window.

Thanks for watching! We hope you found this tutorial helpful and we would love to hear your feedback in the Comments section below. And don’t forget to visit our social media pages and show us what you’ve learned by sharing your photos, videos and creative projects with us.

      Hello SB,

The videos do have audio! Which browser are you using? We tested a few just to be safe (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Explorer), and didn’t have any sound issues.

As for the speed of the tutorial, we appreciate the feedback! We are always looking to improve the accessibility of our videos, and have passed your comments on to our tutorial team for their consideration.

      Best,
      Discovery Center Team
