This tutorial demonstrates how to paint architecture using the Grainy Pressure Knife brush from the Sargent brush category. The process begins with the Minimalist Realism Sketch technique covered in Class 3 and then adds more complexity with nuance and texturing as covered in Class 4. You will learn how to add a level of realism while working in a slightly loose style and texturing surfaces with abstract patterns. When painting architecture, it is important to consider the composition of the image, to look for different views and abstract angles, and to explore reliefs, different materials and architectural elements.
