Simple sketching techniques with Sargent brushes

In this tutorial, you will learn 3 simple free sketching techniques that are great for warmups and pre-studies. Our subject is apples, which have simple shapes and colors that help you learn about reading and representing shapes, overlapping and blending colors, and just painting freely. The 3 different techniques include dabbing with the Sargent brush, smudging and glazing with the Blocky Background brush, and blending colors with the Speckle Grainy Hard Drip brush. You will learn the basic brush mechanics behind each brush and how to apply them to your artwork.
