Double Exposure Photography

Often used to create dreamy portraits and other surreal images, double exposure photography is a technique where two separate exposures are combined into one photo.  Common subjects blended together through the use of double exposure photography include portraits, nature scenes and cityscapes. The double exposure effect can also be created with graphic design or photo editing software, if you don’t have the photography skills or equipment to take double exposure photos.

Here, you’ll find some stunning examples of double exposure portraits that will leave you feeling inspired to try it out for yourself.  To learn how to create a simple double exposure portrait in PaintShop Pro, check out this tutorial.
