In this tutorial, Painter Master Aaron Rutten shows you how to use the new Interactive Gradient tool in Painter 2017 to create 3-dimensional shading on an image. This new tool allows you to add a line with color nodes on each end. You can drag these nodes around and change the colors of each node to get the gradient effect you want. There are also preset gradient options that you can select from the Gradients panel.
