New in Painter 2018, the Random Grain Rotation feature can be used to give a more natural look to your artwork when working with any type of media that expresses texture. In previous versions of Painter, the texture was always in the same position, even after you lifted up your brush or selected a new color and started painting again. Now with the Random Grain Rotation feature, your paper will be slightly rotated every time you lift up your brush, and this results in a more natural and organic look to your artwork. To enable Random Grain Rotation, just click on the check box in the Papers palette.
