I went from PSP XII to Corel PS 2019. I am so lost. I don’t understand why I cannot open multiple photos onto one workspace. I used to do digital scrapbooking and have near to 20 elements opened on my workspace to drag onto my 12×12 background.

My other problem is using the selection tool on an object from my background, promoting it to a layer and saving it as it’s own image. I promoted it and I see it in layers. I used to be able to drag the promoted layer on to the workspace and Save As. If I drag it to the side it disappears. I had scanned multiple photos. What I wanted to do what cut them apart and save individually as I was able to do in pspXII

Help me, please. What is the new way to accomplish what I need to do? Thank you in advance.

      Hello Divad,

Good question! There are a number of ways to merge different photos, and our tutorial on the Photo Blend tool is a good place to start on this technique.

I have 81/2 x 11 photos that I’ve scan and touch up. How do I print these photos out to 5 x7?

      Hello Joe,

The simplest way is to use the resize tool, found under Image > Resize. Set your resize to “by print size”, and either specify the size in inches or select 5 x 7 from the dropdown. Hit OK, and your photos are resized and ready for printing!

I’m trying to create a visual guide to show the sizes of product in mm. I draw the circle, and try to set the radii – but I’m not sure what unit that the tool is in. I’d like to be able to set them in mm, or tell the program to draw a circle of a set mm diameter. Is this possible?

Hi can you recolour faces so they can match the same light colour with each other.

The shape of my pointer for clone and eraser has changed. Unsure how to change it back. Previously was a square or circle (depending on the shape selected) with a small icon representing the task (clone, eraser etc.) above the square or circle. Somehow I have changed it to “cross-hairs” (like the cross-hairs of a target gun scope) and unable to change it back. Thoughts anyone?

      Hello M Van,

It sounds like you have enabled the Precise Cursors option! This replaces all tool-specific cursors with a crosshair, as some users find this easier to use when fine detail is needed. Here is how to toggle that setting:

      1. Navigate to File > Preferences > General Program Preferences

      2. Select “Display and Caching” from the left menu

      3. Untick the box labelled “Use Precise Cursors”

      4. Click OK. You should be all set!

Question: I really struggle getting scripts, tubes, brushes purchases etc. to appear in the right place.
Over the years I have purchased several upgrades, my question is: when you purchase either a script, tubes, brushes, frames etc. does it only install/work in the version you were using at the time of purchase.
Example: I have lots of tubes in Version 2019 but very few in 2020 same with frames etc.
My hard drive is sub divided into two I have a C drive and a Z drive When I purchase any of the above which drive should I install it on to C: or D:

Why, when I open PSP2020, does it turn white spaces on the screen yellow? Not going back to white unless rebooted.

Webroot, after scanning my computer for problems, indicates that there is a memory leak in CorelDRAW X8. It is very slow to respond to simple commands (copy, color text or objects, convert to JPEG or to PDF, and especially when I try to save. It may take an hour for the program to save a file (I’ve timed it). Then it becomes un-responsive. I have to use task manager to stop the program, and lose everything because in the unresponsive mode it does not auto-save.

I use W10 with all the upgrades. I have 16 mb of RAM
