I have Painstshop Pro 2019 and I need to know how to install a pen tool stylized line. I have a file called dot.pspstylizedline that needs to go somewhere. I have put it in C:\Users\Debora\Documents\my PSP files\styled lines, C:\Users\Debora\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\2019\Styled Lines, and C:\ProgramData\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2019\Corel_13 – and it doesn’t show up in any of those places. I’ve run out of ideas. I can’t even make my own stylized line because I don’t understand the tool.
How do I import pictures into your software.?
Hello Sue,
To import photos into PaintShop Pro, use the Navigation palette on the lefthand side of the screen. Click the Collections tab, and then click Browse More Folders. Browse for the folder containing you images, and click OK. This catalogues all the images in that folder in PaintShop, and they can then be opened from the same palette.
Hope this helps!

I have PSP 7 and PSP 8 …. along with 2018 and now 2019 … I would love to get all my things from 7 and 8 into the 2019 version. How can I do this. Right now, I use my old 7 version more than the new one because of this. I have so many tubes, patterns and special effects in the old version that are awesome. Is this possible?
Hello Alice,
You can definitely move that content to the newer versions of PaintShop! How you do it depends on whether you plan on keeping PSP 7 on the system after it is all moved. If you do, just open up the new version of PSP you want to add the content to, and navigate to File > Properties > File Locations. From here, you can add your PSP 7 content folders, and the new version will now know check those folders for content in the future.
If you plan on removing PSP 7 after migrating that content, you’ll need to manually copy the contents of your PSP 7 content folders over to the PSP 2018 or 2019 content folders.
By default, you can find content folders for PSP under C\Users\\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\
That folder will have a subfolder for each type of content. Just copy the files over and you’re all set!

I am trying to download scripts and I put them in my restricted folder, but I do not see them populating in the scripts dropdown bar. What should I be doing?
Hello Kiley,
Which version of PaintShop are you adding the scripts to, and which scripts are you attempting to add? Our first thought is a compatibility issue, but we can certainly check on this issue with you!

My 20918 Scripts are not importing either
You say that if we upgrade we can migrate our content from the three previous versions, but I am well behind not having updated from Paint Shop Pro x 8 so does this mean this is absolutely out of the question for me.? I was just too happy with this version to upgrade before, and it is a long laborious job adding everything again.
Hello Margart,
Thank you for getting in touch! The PaintShop Pro 2019 migration tool does currently only work on the previous three versions of PaintShop Pro. If you are looking to migrate from an older version, that would require manual file migration or setting of pointers in 2019 to bring your additional content forward into PSP 2019.
