Can you give me a list of all the painting presets in Pic to Painting or at least how many there are and if there’s a pencil sketch preset? This is since it’s not in the trial version. Thanks!

      Hello Hazel,

Yes, the Pic-to-Painting plugin is available in PaintShop Pro 2021 Ultimate! Once PaintShop Pro is installed, you can add Pic-to-Painting from the Get More section in the Welcome tab. Once downloaded, it can be accessed from Effects > Plugins > Pic-to-Painting.

I purchased PSP Ultimate at the end of November and it doesn’t show Pic-to-Paint in plugins. Rather, it shows up as a plugin to purchase on my home screen.

I also purchased 2021 Ultimate as an upgrade from 2019 Ultimate and PicToPainting was NOT included. It has to be purchased separately. 2021 won’t recognize my existing copy of PicToPainting So now I have to use both versions to accomplish a simple task. REALLY annoying way to squeeze every last penny out of your loyal customers.

      Hello Richard,

Thanks for the suggestion! While this is not currently a supported feature in the Pic-to-Painting tool, we have passed your comment on to the PaintShop Pro team for their consideration.

I am running a licensed version of PSPPro 2019 (64bit), and I added the Pic to Paint snapin.
The P to P snapin loads on the screen but the Paint Style Photo options cover the what appears to be the Save and Send option.
Why is this Snapin doing that? It is completely useless that way.
Thank you in advance for resolving this issue.

      Hello Patrick,

If your screen resolution is not high enough to display the Send and Close button in Pic-to-Painting, a workaround is to press Tab three times, and then press Enter. This will cycle past Preview Style, then Reset, then onto Send and Close. Pressing enter on Send and Close will save your Pic-to-Painting effect.

      Hope this helps,

I have PSP Ultimate 2019 and am trying to use the Pic-to-Painting app/plug-in. Unfortunately Step 4 which saves my work is not visible on my screen. It is completely covered by the row of “painting” options as the bottom of the screen. I don’t seem to be able to minimize the row and move it. Any suggestions for getting at Step 4?

    Hi there,

I’ve just downloaded the Paint Shop Pro (trial version)… witch according to Corel is a “full working version”.
As I’m mainly interested in transforming pictures in to paintings and wanted to try version 2019 with “Pic-to-Painting”, I was surprised to find after downloading PSP2019, that this was not part of the main program and in fact a add-on… but no big deal.

Going through your video, I went to the welcome page and surprised again, this add-on “Pic-to-Painting” is not there. Every other one (premium an free) are there to buy and download… but not this one, the only one I’m really interested to try before I can decide to purchase PSP2019.

Could any one be kind enough to tell me or guide me where can I download this add-on?… or if this add-on “Pic-to-Painting” has been withdrawn from Corel Paint Shop Pro 2019, why Corel still claiming on the adverts and video instructions that the program has the capability to transform pictures in to “art paintings”?

Thanks in advance for someone’s reply.

      Hello Francisco,

Thank you for reaching out! While all of the tools within PaintShop Pro itself are found in both the trial and full versions, some add-ons, including Pic-to-Painting, are only available in the full version of PaintShop Pro.

I have had no problems with the Pi\c to Painting plugin. I use Win10 Pro with 16 Gig RAM and SSD RAM system

I have found this to be a Secret Jewel! Will there be any more additions or updates to this plugin, e.g. such as stacking ? I found that by running one FX saving then running a second FX produces some rare but interesting results.

    Thank you!

when exporting, there is no possibility to supplement the Pic to Panting style photos with your own designs. Where a rigid photo must meet?

    April 4, 2019 at 6:19 pm
    • Adam Reply

      Hello Cornelis,

Are you looking to apply additional effects to a pic-to-paint image, or have it only apply to a portion of the image? Currently, Pic-to-Painting is an uninterruptible process that affects the entire image, so these effects would have to be created after the export process was completed.

Thank you for the suggestion, however! We have passed it on to the PaintShop team for their consideration.

    Does not work.

The plug in comes up and the slide bar of effects covers the ‘export’ option button.

No sliders or size change available for plug in pop up box……so you can never get to the button to export the pic.

Perhaps this only works for Windows 10 or only on Apple?

Big play up of a plug in that doesn’t work. Adding in the constant ‘nagging’ boxes the software pops up demanding you buy something else it makes this software seem like a bad choice.

      Hello Vic,

Our developers are aware of the issue and working on it, but we don’t have an ETA to announce on the fix just yet. It’s related to your screen resolution, and appears on certain non-1080 resolutions. In the meantime, a workaround you can use is the tab key! It will cycle between buttons in the Pic-to-Painting window. Tapping it three times will move through Preview Style > Reset > Send and Close. Hit enter after the third press, and your settings will apply.

      Hope this helps,

          Hello Dennis,

Did you install Pic-to-Painting after downloading the plugin? PaintShop Pro may have stopped after downloading the plugin package, but before deploying it. If this is the case, there will be a green Install button where the Download button used to be in the Get More menu. If it is showing as installed in the Get More menu, let us know and we can look into this some more!

      Hello A.K.,

The easiest way to uninstall the program would be with the Add/Remove Programs menu built into Windows! All of our software is designed to work with it, to make the uninstall process as simple as possible. Here is a Microsoft support article that walks you through the process.
