      Hello Nicholas,

It sounds like you need to set the audio source! This setting can be found under the Settings tab for each screen. System audio device names vary widely, but in Windows 10, a typical display is something along the lines of “Speakers (High Definition Audio Device)”. If you are using a dedicated sound card or other device, its model or brand name may also be present in the device listing.

how do you get the camera to record the screen of the pc

      Hello Charlie,

Screen capture uses a separate program, which may not be immediately obvious! You can find the Live Screen Capture tool at Programs\Pinnacle\\LiveScreenCapturing. Launch VSSCap.exe from that folder and start recording!

There is also likely a start menu shortcut, unless you elected not to install them.

      Hope this helps,

I’ve got pinnacle 22 but how do u get multicam lite?

      Hello MattGinAZ,

MultiCam is a separate program that installs alongside Pinnacle Studio. If you told Pinnacle not to put any icons on the desktop, the easiest way to find it would be to enter MultiCam Capture into your Start Bar’s search field – it should pop up for you right away.

      Hope this helps!

Hi I purchased multi cam with studio 2018. We will begin to learn to use it soon. But I cant find instructions on how to connect the cameras to the laptop. I have 3 cameras with hdmi out and only 1 input to the computer and 2 usb inputs.

      Hello Bob,

In order to connect additional cameras with that setup, we would suggest looking into USB Capture Cards! We don’t currently make HDMI capture cards, so we’d have to point you elsewhere for that unfortunately. Some brands to consider include Elgato, Hauppauge, and Magewell. There are quite a few to choose from these days so we have almost certainly missed some other great ones, but those would be a good place to start looking.

hi there, im looking for a program that not only records multi cam but streams in it, so the watcher has the power to change their view of cameras on offer, watching the teaching from what ever angle suits their learning style.

      Hello Luke,

Unfortunately, recording and streaming multicam video are very different animals! While what you are looking for is doable, it is less of a software issue than a hardware one. There are some great tutorials out there on how to set up a multicam stream, but the real complication is your goal of the viewer changing the camera channel. We haven’t seen anything quite like that out there, short of events with separate dedicated streams for each camera angle; not quite the same!

      Hope this helps,

The tutorials are great. But I am new to this program and would like to know which tutorials are relevant to Pinnacle 22.

      Hello Bob,

Thanks for the feedback! Here’s a link to our selection of Pinnacle Studio 22 tutorials, but feel free to check out some of the previous versions’ videos too! While we are always working on adding new tutorials to help cover the ins and outs of our latest version, the tools and features that were new in Studio 21, 20, and earlier rarely go away (although some do change over time), and there is still good information to be had in those videos.

      Hope this helps,
