      Hello Carolyn,

If you right click on the old video in your timeline, you can select ‘split audio’ to separate the audio for editing. You can then duck or trim the audio to allow for your new track to play without them overlapping one another.

      Hope this helps!

How can you make beat markers for the music track so you can size the photos acccordingly? ie all photos transition to the next photo right on the beat as per my old software Cyberlink PowerDirector?

      Hello David,

To bring an audio file on your computer into your VideoStudio project, just click on the file folder icon in the upper left of the media pane in VideoStudio. This will open up an Explorer window, which you can use to navigate to the file on your computer and add it to the VideoStudio library. Once it’s added, just drag it onto the timeline!

      Hope this helps,
