I have Corel Video studio 2020.
In share I have saved my work as Mpeg-4 also saved it as a Mov file.
When I upload any of these to Facebook it keeps coming on Facebook as a 360 picture or 360 video.
I have NOT made it a 360 video and when watching it on the PC or TV it plays as it should do.
Can you please tell me where I have gone wrong. I have read a few things and watched a few videos but none of them tell me anything why this is happening.

Please Help!!!! otherwise it’s 6 weeks worth of work down the pan.
    Look forward to your reply.

      Hello Darran,

Unfortunately this sounds like a Facebook issue and not a VideoStudio issue, but we will do what we can. The first thing to check: What resolution/aspect ratio is your video? In our experience, Facebook will often see a panoramic video or other particularly high-res formats, assume it is 180 or 360 footage, and attempt to convert it during upload. This is especially likely if your aspect ratio is close to 2:1, which is the usual ratio for 360 video. Making sure you’re using a standard HD or 4k resolution will help avoid these sorts of conversion errors during an upload to Facebook.

      Hope this helps!

      Hello Carmela,

We would suggest enabling Smart Proxy! This setting reduces the preview video resolution for smoother playback, while allowing the final render to be at the full resolution you selected.

buen día. como puedo hacer para que un video de fotos o imagnes, éstas tengan una duración por ejemplo de 8 segundos, pero si puedo aplicar dicho tiempo a todas las imágenes o fotos y no hacerlo una a una?

      Hello Mario,

To change the length of all of your clips, select all of them by shift+clicking, or using ctrl+click to select them if they are not in a row. Right-click on any of the selected images, click “change photo duration”, and enter the new photo length.

      Hello Daniel,

Did you mean Pinnacle Studio 22, or the newest version of VideoStudio? In either case, we do have documentation available in PDF! Here is where you can find the Pinnacle Studio 22 User Guide, and the VideoStudio 2018 User Guide.

      Hope this helps!

For a first time user this tutorial is just too overwhelming. No commentary just a cursor flitting about. Not educational at all. Also am not sure that Video Studio has any feature that might help clean up grainy or dim lighted original *.avi / MPG files that were recorded years ago on home video cameras. I was hoping to use Video Studio to update the video clips, to resort them into logical presentations (for family viewing) and to cut and paste parts of different clips into a presentation on a particular topic – say for example Christmas 1991 video… Some images have distortion lines in them… I suppose there is no way to edit them out?

      Hello Shady,

Sorry for the frustration! We do have a couple tutorials for you on just this topic. The first one is a written tutorial on Importing Audio Files to Videostudio, in case you want to add your own, and the second is a short video tutorial on How to Add Music to a Video, which you can follow to add either your imported audio files, or the music clips included with VideoStudio!

I need help. I can take my old VHS tapes and copy them on to DVD. I can play the DVD on my computer, I can’t edit the DVD. I can’t “capture” the DVD on Video Studio.

      Hello Dale,

Because of how video files are saved to a DVD, importing video from a DVD works a little differently from a live capture or a standard import. Here is a Knowledgebase article with information on how to import video from DVDs.

      Hope this helps!
