      Hello Dirk,

No problem! Here is a tutorial on how to use the Audio Ducking tools to adjust the audio within a video clip.

      Hello John,

Which version of Pinnacle Studio are you using? We can certainly take a look at why that could be happening.

      Hello W.Lion,

To remove those black bars, all you need to do is crop the video! In Pinnacle Studio 20, the Crop tool can be accessed from the main screen, by clicking the icon in the bottom right corner of the video preview. Then just drag the corners of the rectangle that appears over your video to match the boundaries of your screen. Once you have cropped out those black bars, the button next to the Crop tool is the Resize tool, which lets you quickly resize the cropped selection to fit your chosen resolution!

      Hope this helps,

      Hello Daniel,

Are you trying to open the video files directly from your camera? We would suggest copying them to your hard drive and then trying to open them in Pinnacle again. While Pinnacle can often access videos directly from a video camera, copying them to your hard drive reduces the number of errors that can occur in the import process, and also provides a generally faster and smoother import.

      Hope this helps!

How do I save a prpject while editing and after I have finished the movie

      Hello David,

You can save a project you are not quite finished with by using the Save options found in the File menu, in the top left corner of the screen.

When you are finished with a project, the Export button in the top right has everything you need to export the project in just about any format, burn it directly to a disc, and more!

      Hope this helps,

The tutorials that I have viewed so far, with Maliek Whitaker, are absolutely outstanding. For once an instructor that doesn’t move at the speed of sound and leave the student wondering what he said. Can’t say enough good things about this program. I am now on the road to really learning this program.

Good intro. I have used this product in version 14, but I have always stabbed around until I got a movie. I am now committed to learning how to use the software. However there is no thumbs up button when I watch the tutorial out of the Pinnacle Studio TUTORIAL tab.
