Working with Portrait Videos in VideoStudio Ultimate

In the age of mobile devices, we often find that we captured that moment in portrait orientation – and now we have to work with those black bars on either side of our video. Join us as we learn about Video Mask Overlays and how to create backgrounds with the NewBlue Background Generator. In this tutorial you will learn 3 different ways to do this, including:

  • Hiding the black bars on either side by adding a simple background
  • Removing the hard edges of your video clip by applying a mask or frame
  • Using the Background Generator filter to create a unique backdrop for your video clip
