      Hi Donna,
Yes, you can save your video on a thumb drive, provided it has enough space for the size of your video file. As long as the thumb drive is connected to your computer, it will be available as a file location to save to. Alternatively, you could save your video to another file location on your computer, such as Desktop or Documents, and then copy or move it to the thumb drive.
      Hope this helps!

      Hi Tim,
Yes, you can export in a portrait format (for example 1080×1920 which is the recommended size for YouTube shorts). If your video is already that size, just check the box for “Same as Project Settings” and then export.
If your video is not that size, select the format you want to export (for example MPEG-4) and then look in the Profile dropdown list for a profile that is 1080×1920.
      Hope this helps!

I’m using video studio ultimate 2022, when trying to render export and “share video online” only YouTube and Vemeo appear as options. How do I add Facebook as an option ?
Also I’d like to create a thumbnail for the video??

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

      Hi Michael,

Unfortunately, sharing directly to Facebook isn’t an option in VideoStudio so you will need to save your video to your computer and then upload it to Facebook. To create a thumbnail, you can use the snapshot feature to capture an image from your video (select Take a Snapshot under the Edit menu). You can change the snapshot settings under the Settings menu (Settings > Preferences > Capture). The snapshot image will be added to your media library, so you can place it on your timeline if you want to add text and/or graphics to enhance the thumbnail image.

      Hope this helps!
