In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to combine two or more shapes to create a new shape using the following Compound options: 

  • Union combines two or more objects together so they become a single combined shape 
  • Subtract uses the upper object as a “cookie cutter” to remove an area from the lower object 
  • Intersect shows the areas where the original objects overlap 
  • Difference shows the areas where the original objects do not overlap
