I’ve installed PSP Pro 2019 Ultimate. When I run the program I want to go directly to the Edit workspace. On former versions, settings allowed me to determine what workspace I saw when I ran the program. But on this version I can’t find that setting anywhere. Please let me know where to find that setting on PSP Pro 2019 Ultimate.

      Hello Charlene,

Of course! You can find that setting under File > Preferences > General Program Preferences > Tabs.

I tried Photoshop before I tried Paintshop and I am glad I did. I would not have known how much easier Paintshop is to use. I loved the trial so much that I purchased it as soon as I could. I also like that I don’t have to have a monthly payment to use it. Thank you.

I can’t create a new folder or delete folders in pictures on the upper right- hand side of the screen in PSP. I have X9 and 2018.

      Hello Tom,

Are the options to create or delete folders absent, or not functioning? If they are absent, you most likely need to switch to the Complete workspace. You can switch between Workspaces using the File > Workspace menu.

If the options to create or delete folders are present but not functioning, let us know and we can look into why that could be!

      Hello John,

Which Workspace are you in? If you are missing Workspace elements, it is likely because you are in the Essentials Workspace rather than Complete. You can switch between Workspaces using File > Workspace.

      Hope this helps!

      Hello Malonebash,

Which browser are you using, and does it have an update waiting to install? We tested our videos on Windows 10 using a few browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE/Edge, Safari, Opera) and did not have any trouble with playback.

Installed yesterday…having many issues with the workspace. I am straight from using X2. I use many layers, they won’t stay on the canvas, keep collapsing to the task bar? ? It’s a vast difference, so difficult to move the images around. Also all my files are showing as Corel icons, can’t see my pictures. May not be
    able to fathom! Using IE.

      Hello Jean,

Thank you for the feedback! There have been quite a few gradual changes between PaintShop Pro X2 and 2018, so the interface will definitely take some getting used to. We are sure it will start feeling natural before you know it!

As for the missing thumbnail issue, we have seen this with a range of Corel and non-Corel programs over the years, and have a fix for this which you can find here:

I used Corel earlier versions that was included in programs (CD) attached to my Fuji Film Camera. Somehow I lost the program and CD over the years and couldn’t find that exact one no where. It was easy to learn the basics although I really need to take a class, I got the jest of it. Now I’ve downloaded your trial version and I sure hope I can grasp this new one before I purchase. I’m excited to learn at 52 years young. Thank you Corel!!!

I own AfterShot 3 STANDARD and Painter Essentials 5. I have the codes for both but have no information as to how to enter them and thus use the program.

      Hello Jim,

When you attempt to use AfterShot and Painter Essentials, do you get a ‘trial expired’ message? If so, simply click the “Activate Now”, “Already Purchased”, or “Enter Serial Number” button to proceed to the next window, where you can enter your serial and activate the program!

If you are not getting the trial expired message, let us know and we will look into this with you!

Thanks for reaching out! What browser are you using to view our tutorials? We routinely test them in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer, Opera, and Safari among other browsers, and we have encountered any difficulty viewing our tutorials. If the issue persists, make sure your browser is up-to-date, and if that fails, another browser may be the solution!

One other potential cause for video playback issues is if the network you are connected to is using a proxy or has video sites or content disabled. This is the case in many offices, as well as many public wifi services.

      Hope this helps!

      Hello Roland,

Unfortunately we do not have full German tutorial videos at this time. However, several of our tutorials (including this one!) do have German subtitles available, among other languages. We are always looking for ways to expand both our available tutorial topics and the accessibility of the tutorials themselves, and appreciate the feedback.

      Hope this helps!
